| We bought this place in Aug 1981. The realtor didn't want to show it to us because of its filthy state. But I love a fix-me-up. This is where for 4 years we lived a typical American suburban life. We did renovate every single room (house description in 1981). But it was winters that made us want to get out of Minnesota. So we tried in 1983 - with no bites. After I secured a job in New Zealand we had it on the market again in 1984. This time we lowered our asking price monthly until it sold in 1985. | |||
