The MANY FISH of EVA

Mom took us fishing once as children. We went to Lake Pepin (really just a spot where the Mississippi River widens) and we didn't catch anything. But when she married Bob and became a Fisher she also became a fisher. And she loved ice fishing most of all.

1958 - Family went to Little Mantrap Lake in northern Minnesota. One day the men went out in a boat and came back with nothing. Meanwhile the women fished off the dock and pull the fish in using salami as bait. Dad dubbed Angi and Mom "The Salami Fishers".
