I only met Lynna briefly a couple times. Shortly after we shifted back to New Zealand I discovered what a "miracle worker" she truly was.
We had word that the confirmed bachelor, Bob, was now hitched. In 1990 they "did" NZ and they spent a few days with us.
Lynna and I clicked and would stay up all hours talking. We stayed in touch with letters over the years. When we advised them of our planned visit to Minnesota in '97
they generously offered to take us camping on Lake Superior's North Shore and to arrange a reunion of my workmates.
They were so generous and made the reunion a very special occasion. We were able to spend quality time with them
and the dogs while enjoying the beauty of northern Minnesota. Hiking with Lynna was filled with many potato chips stops.
Lynna knows just about everything there is to know about Knapp alumni. Knapp, Wisconsin.
This year (and 2000) found our Lynna in Mongolia doing a short stint of missionary work.
IN 2013 she had a bunionectomy that laid her up for a month or so. |
