A bus ride from downtown Minneapolis to Bloomington (12 miles or so) cost 30¢. |

Progressive party. Fran in a wig (no one took a photo!). Scottish eggs at Eric's; Haysons' for fish; Kaci's for main course; Atmores' for dessert and a great rum punch; finishing off at Whites' for coffee where we raffled off a fish hook, a pack of Benson & Hedges and beer. |

Aldies came to babysit while Roger treated us to a meal at the Boomerang in Ramarama. Worst meal and service ever. Only two other couples there.
A fellow played an organ. Veggies were days old and obviously re-heated. Drinks and meals for three: $27. |

Th - Record High = 57°F. David approved for reduced lunch rate because of our low income. |

Su - Colleen, Christine and Pip came for a visit regaled us with many stories. |

T - Blackie died today, age 69. The Mills, Bobbie and a Lynn joined us for Trivial Pursuit. |

Su - Clayton wrote: "I miss you old bastards". 2 hours of yardwork at 3B. Muppet dug under the fence and went into neighbor's
yard and couldn't get back. |

M - Russell called - in his Te Kauwhata place at long last. |
2019 |
T - Biked to 34OC for an hour's time in the yard. Biked home at dusk (with sunglasses on) and had to stop once - a bit wobbly. Blood gluscose at 3.5 explained that. |
2021 |
F - Turned in my script and Lucy said the meds were the usual boring stuff. Gail and Ne back from Wentworth. Gail damaged a knee on way down from waterfall.

Sa - 34OC and lucky I went as I discovered left the hose left on overnight and flooded the veggie gardens and the back area. |
