Adelaide Walked to local PO to get stamps for postcards. Corner grocery stores are known as "delis". We drove into town where we loaded up on maps and info from AA - a large and very efficient setup. Ansett to double check departure time. Filled car paying via machine at pump. Westfield Mall in Marion. Just like the ones in the States - it was great. We tried a variety of Chinese items for lunch. Wendy's SupaSundaes - I had a raspberry spider, David a peppermint crisp rocket (60¢), Gail a hedgehog and Ne a superpop. Bought new things from a candy shop - I had a caramel Milky Way. Hit a Target and then Arrow for groceries.
Got back at 5:30PM only to find that I didn't have the key. Luckily, Heasleys arrived at the same time. I had left the key in the lock. Went to McDonald's for Mana's 8th birthday. Adelaide water is terrible and the ice in pop made it undrinkable, and also affects tea and coffee to a lesser extent.
Went downtown with Murray to get some crates (firewood).
