I strolled around Honolulu with Joyce.  Terry's parents dropped in from California to see him off. They were so classy that I couldn't think of anything to say to them. Emosi's father took a few PCVs to the East-West center in a convertible. Me, I took a cab to the airport.

We had it drummed in that our luggage had to be correct, so I spent many hours of packing then weighing and tossing things out at Ookala. Well, the first one to weigh in was about 7 pounds over and guy said never mind.  And then they didn't even weigh the rest of us.  Just ticket the bags. Can't blame them - 70 of us all showing up at the same time. We were scheduled to leave at 11PM... - see tomorrow.
