Nurse Jerry
Once a week the nurse, Jerry, a beautiful creature, would come out and we would line up for shots.  Tenatus, typhoid and oral polio.  If you were a male and not afraid of needles you probably looked forward to her arrival. Except maybe for the gammagobulin which required an extra large needle to be inserted in to your backside.  Some of the guys came out putting on big dying acts to scare the girls.  We took that shot as a good sign that we had been selected.  Then again there were the three anti-rabies that were very painful (yes the government was using us as guinea pigs).
