 A very imposing persona who not only made students shake, but whipped staff into shape at meetings, too.
Behind all the cro-magna facade was a very gentle person. He took over as deputy head in 1974 and soon had create a plethora of forms including the dreaded "pink slip" that made your heart sink if you found one in your cubby hole for it meant that you were losing a free period.
He left Rosehill to become Headmaster of Nelson College in 1981. Health problems caught up with him and he passed away. 1981 Article | |
