The school hired a professional money raiser, J G Wolf, to run the project with funds going towards building a gymnasium. We spent a whole term with many money making schemes. It was to culminate with a parade and fair. The parade was cancelled and we struggled through the fair in the rain. The "Papakura Prattler" was a weekly newspaper filled with all the fund raising activities.
