Baby White had a blowout party to mark her adulthood arrival. Update 2013: Now goes by the name of Dominika and hangs out with Brad.


enlarge Bernie BERNIE - My fun-loving uncle. He had many worries and worked harder than most to keep ahead. My Confirmation name is Bernard, after him. And I have tried to be just like him in many ways.

BOSTON - Gail and I went there in 1972 and 1997. The attraction being my Peace Corps buddy, Woody, who lives there.
enlarge Breezes BREEZES - Fiji mates from NZ. Simon taught at same school in NZ also and they lived in Papakura until retiring. In 1997 Gail and I were able to visit them in
BRUNEI - Small chunk of Borneo. A Muslim sultanate sitting on huge oil reserves. Simon taught there for nine years. (more)
BLOOMINGTON - Suburb of Minneapolis. Lived there for 18 months. Sold hotdogs at Metropolitan Stadium for Minnesota Twins and Viking games. Worked at Holiday Inn where I was a

BEREA - Near Cleveland, Ohio and home of Frank and Bette Thomas. A lovely couple from my Peace Corps days. Gail and I visited them there in 1975, 1980 and 1997.

Gail’s new TOY-ota Malley Muses
  Gail has a new car, new car, new car - an Echo. I traded in the 20 year old van. Its time was up. Price of petrol had us looking at hybrids, but our friend, Ian, got himself a Vitz and Gail loved it, so we went with smaller. I’m saving up for a new van, cause I REALLY need one, eh? Why aren’t prisoners allowed to have a cell phone?
