Bechyn Czech Festival 18 Aug 2002
First ones we met were Eloy and Lori and this blonde gal who said: "Hi John". ??? Turned out to be my cousin Linda Noll (who was a lot shorter that I thought). And her two daughters, Alison and Andrea. They had come down with her father, Fred and his new wife, Verna. The rest of the day sort of blends into one so I just note who I ran into and who I met for the first time. Good old Ralph (German) came to outdrink the Czechs. Jerry and Mark came to join Susie, Mike and Dan who were working the stalls. Met dad's cousin Claude Dolezal and wife Maryann. Singled out Dorthy Malecek and met two daughters, Diane Wohnutka and Judy Zaccheo. Met Henry Malecek's grandson, Randy, who believes that Henry and and his wife are relatives who shouldn't be married. Met Judy and Des - had time to look through half of her Malecek genealogy book, before they left. She introduced me to Molly Shweinfurter who is big on genealogy and is a relative. And she introduced me to Doug Kodet, who helped me with the Bechyn map - he brought in an older fellow who knew more and he collared Joe Kuzubik who added his two bits about who used to live where.
