 | On Fridays Gail and I play Scrabble with fellow villager, Anna. We are managing to win once in a while despite Anna’s amazing ability to use words we have never heardor seen before. This year, in Britain, we are defending the World Cup that was won in dramatic fashion, by a castoff player from good old Waiuku. See the movie: “The Kick” |

 | It seems that our Prime Minister wants a new flag despite 75% of Kiwis saying stick with the old one. These are the final 4 for which we will vote. A 5th flag was forced into the competition. |  | Earthquake in Chile and Ocean Shores Village sprung into action sending wardens knocking on doors telling us to get our pills and gear ready to escape the wave that never arrived. |

 | Gail had a ten day getaway with our friend, Colleen. They stayed with Col’s daughter outside of Melbourne. They ate out often and visited many beaches and lovely gardens. (see photos) |  | After a 13 year hiatus I have dug out the Formula 1 tracks. We play on Sundays with a few petrol heads. In addition, we also race 2 cars each on Formula D boards.
