1982	F - David and Ne went bike riding after super. Ne came in at 7PM but no sign of David. Since he never missed "Dukes of Hazard" we knew something was wrong. So I was in the car and drove around for 20 minutes. He got lost trying to ride his bike around the block (very complicated in Cottage Grove). A couple found him standing at 80th and Jamaica and brought him to their place. So I drove over and got him.
1987	Cobb & Co. Three waitresses short so half an hour to be seated and after another 30 minutes with no service we left. Bought a JVC video camera for $2995 at Noel Leeming.
1988	Tried Hong Kong Food City - $7 adult, $4.50 child for one plate filling. Nothing exceptional foodwise. Kathy, Mike and Sam brought newspaper with mono-hull launching photos and we think we can make out Simon's boat in one of them.
1998	Th - David came in and we got the networks going in E4 and Print Room. Bali asked why it took 6 weeks to do it. I told him the question was: "How was I able to do it in only 6 weeks".
2010	F - Drove to Raglan. Long time filling car at Bombay BP because it was Good Friday and stores are closed. Then because not everyone left Auckland last night for the long weekend there was a 30Km long crawl along State Highway 1 going south. So a drive that should take less than two hours turned out to be 3 hour slog. Checked into Sunset Motel and Ian appeared at our door to give us directions to the campsite. Visited the mini-Whites in their three tent camp (everything brand new). Walked along the coast (WWII Bunker) and over bridge to be shown where Ian, Tracy and Leon were staying (Bow Steet Apartments). We got fish and chips at the VERY busy shop next to the campgrounds and ate it back in our room. Walked over to LTI's place and gave Leon his birthday card and our Wizard's Quest game. We played The Gardens of Alhambra (last place) and Totem (I won) while sipping an excellent Brown Brothers 2006 Merlot. Tried WQ but couldn't get past the rules so we gave up.
2017	Su - Drove 187Km to Russell's. Had to wait awhile as he and James were at an aunty's 90th in Henderson. So we missed the reserve game. Bought Peter and me bacon burgers from The White Lady. Met Peter's young worker, John (blonde). First game for Kieren Foran. Usual mess first half found the Warriors down 22 - 16. Titans were injury riddled and Warriors managed to beat them 28-22 on a last minute try by Hoffman (highlights).
2022	Sa - email from Ian (Lui died).
2023	Su - DLS set clocks back. Biked to 34OC to do yardwork and concreted a post on side of garage. Gym and pool (16 lengths). Finished Shakespeare by Bryson. AFL: Suns 118 - Hawks 37 thanks to three goals at end otherwise it would have been a 100 point loss.
2024	T - Up at 11:10AM. email to Colleen W. Wooolies. 34OC to finish sanding front door and do a load of stones. Watched Dogs beat Suns 115 - 67 (Weightman had 6 goals). Gym and pool (6). Opened a Spinyback 2022 Pinot Gris for Easter (a couple days late).
