20th	21st	22nd
1963	Howard smashed into a tree at Haskell's. Cook got cut up so we took him home. After school Howie and I went to Metropolitan Stadium and I got a job selling hot dogs [ed. - the Twins and Vikings games. 3.75¢ per dog sold. On a slow day I made 75 cents, average $1.50 and my best day was $10.50. But I got to see the games for free]. On the way home Howie ran into a Volkswagon - 2 accidents in one day!	can't drive
1968	Haircut ($2.50), watch repair (50¢).
1969	Watched Star Trek episode "The Way to Eden": audio tape - video.
1970	I had my favorite class, 4B (14 to 17 years old), make Gail birthday cards in Art class. Some are beautiful, some are sweet, some are funny and some just don't make any sense.
1973	We went to night classes at Rosehill - Gail for crocheting and I to woodwork (gonna build a book case).
1975	Talked to Jerkovich about leaving. He said I could have leave for as long I wished and that I'd be in for a PR 2 in future. Meal (excellent Villa Maria Sauterne) at McGhies where we met Barry's cousin, Mattie and his wife Ann (maths/science at Kelston Girls).
1980	Th - Supervized a 5th form geography and 3rd form English class. 5U/T for PE and had them play "21" which they liked. Swimming classes 4th and 5th Forms with Noel Bungay. Leon R had a cramp and the Beckingsales came running. Aldersons over for slides (tape) and we gave them their first taste of Pepsi.
1982	Su - Josephsons and Broichs over for reunion of the women. Had a St Gabriel '80 Liebfraulich. Cheryl's brother lives in NZ!
1985	Th - Letter from NZ Steel saying they are still waiting for me to come and set up an Info Center.
1996	W - A Helen came to buy about 50 of my McDonalds' items for $50. We celebrated by having Burger King for supper.
2006	email from Schwitters - going to visit Sawatsky in Florida who lived in house next to ours (after we left).
2016	Su - Colleen and Dave stopped in and we had a lovely visit with them. Colleen is all screwed up and just can't make decisions.
2018	W - We had 3 offers: $460, $466 and $475K. No brainer, but we wait 5 days for lawyer's approval of driveway situation. So we put in an offer on Ocean Crest. Got to Mitre 10 and discovered flat tire (nail), so called AA and waited 45 minutes for Mark to arrive and change it. Two men stopped and voluntered their help as we waited.
2024	W - Russell called: doesn't have the tickets and is having his heart operation on Tuesday. Gym and pool (pb=22). Finished watching all 177 episodes of House on TV.
