1966	Promoted to desk clerk at Holiday Inn, making more pay but no tips.
1972	Suva with Simon and Josaia B where we scrubbed the boat's hulls. Lunch at Suva Townhouse with Bryce, Fran and Thomases. From the roof we watched the Ocean Monarch leave port and also saw a wedding at the cathedral. Mike G joined us for supper at Nanking to celebrate Bette's birthday with a bottle of wine. Took a cab to yacht club and put Pywacket in the water.	not Pywacket
1978	Sa - Gail's first day at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Takanini (photo). Jones over for a barbecue.
1980	T - Painted Aldies' garage walls and window trim. Evening at Breezes. We sold them the big old heater. Fish 'n chips for supper.
1984	Su - 10.6" of snow. My neck and back hurting. Gail's back is out. David down with real bad flu and terrible earaches. So who's gonna shovel the drive? We all shovelled at 4PM so Gail could go to work. I shovelled again at 8:30PM so she could back in (Storm Report).
1985	Su - 2" of snow making the total 17". Spent day shovelling the heavy snow from the driveway.
1986	T - Took the turntable apart and tried several things before good old cellotape around the pinch roller spindle did the trick - got the correct speed, first try. [ed. - different Hz than in States].
2011	F - Up at 8:30AM to be on hand for Morrin who carpeted the stairwell and turned the carpet around in the livingroom. Ann, Russell and Mike over for a meal with an excellent Stoneleigh '09 Pinot Noir. Ian joined us for TP.
2015	W - Vicki stopped in for a short visit.
