13th	14th	15th
1970	Went for a ride on McDougall's boat. Then on Simon's to do some trolling (movie of coastline). Was able to film a fish drive being done by Qoma women (movie). After lunch we went to Nukulevu Island for a picnic and swim in warm water. I discovered Wayne, a Fiji VI trainee, and Sova at home, so we drank and talked until the movie started. I went to Breezes for supper and we looked over the Science exam. Back home and movie done so it was more drinking until 2AM when the rugby game NZ v England was broadcast.
1976	Heather and Jamie over for lunch then brought us over to check out the house that Barry is building.
1980	F - White Castle for supper (I told Doug he'd need to have 15 or so) and then bowling, but here was a league going on so we played pool instead. Dairy Queen for dessert. Doug and I stayed up until 12:30AM listening to records.
1981	Sa - Dad and Lavonne came at 4PM for a tour of house, a meal and a slide show. He gave me a snow shovel.
1983	M - Saw Dr Cumming about pain on lower side - slipped or loose ring was his guess. sort.
1985	Th - Ruby restaurant for supper - very expensive, but very good meals. I had nasi goreng fried rice. A pot of tea = $3.60. Our waitress was a girl from Rosehill, Debbie, who is now married to Robert Paul. Foodtown where we found fruit and veggies expensive - mango=$1.95, passionfruit=75¢ each.
1992	Aldies came at 6:45PM. Gave Doug the Top Pops book. Then we went to Valentines.
1993	White's - Adults went for a walk in a bush area on the tip of the peninsula.
1998	Sa - Ian and Susi came at 6PM with Ann, Gordon and Hannah for drinks (excellent Montana '95 Late Harvest) by pool. Had the 1997 Grand Prix Awards ceremony and then a meal (excellent '96 Wyndham CabSav).
1999	Su - Watched Lewis beat Holyfield (highlights).
2005	Up at 7AM so I could get to the airport around 9:15AM (accident at Takanini so I didn't take the motorway). Parked at domestic and walked to International to meet up with Brenda and Rich. We exchanged goodies (I gave them fruit and nuts etc... and they gave us Toostie Rolls, Root Beer barrels, paprika, aspirin and cranberry liqueur). Had a cuppa and chatted for an hour until it was time for them to fly to Queenstown. They were both excited by a heavy downfall - Rich ran out to see it.	RBB
2008	Gail's home helper, Leigh of Geneva Health, came for the first time. Got all the tools organized for the invasion. They came, more and more of them. Joan, Diane W (card), Trina, Bobby, Louise, Yvonne, Charmaine (w Sione), Shontae (w James), Diane L, Barb, Dreana and 3 sons, Maxine and Janet. They attacked our property with 3 lawnmowers and Trina's first time on a ride-on, wouldn't get off it. Veggie garden was whipped it no shape. Weeds didn't stand a chance. Everything that was sweepable was swept. There won't be any passionfruit this year, oh well. Daryl sent along a couple bottles of bubbly. I finished off the Minchinbury Brut over the rest of the evening.	Trina
2011	M - We had our complimentary meal - cooked by Henry (Jill doesn't rate him) - which we found delicious and abundant. Don Barnett and Lloyd Jackson welcomed us. They are regulars. After a sweet dessert we bought Tuscan herb and walnut bread. Then I introduced us to the other table: June Redding, Les Carroll, Alan Burt and an ex-kiwifruit lady, Jennifer Porter. Had a good chat and another invite to eat with them in the future.	Don Henry
2014	F - Ian brought Heather and Mary over for a short visit before they reboarded the cruise ship.
2016	M - Up at 11AM to find out that a 7.5 earthquake struck near David. Kaikoura destroyed and even Wellington damaged.
2017	T - My weight down to 70.2Kg thanks to a week of no food (kidney stone).
2022	M - Chat with Mark who was removing Smiths orange flowered vine because it was destroying the fence. He now works M to W. 100 minute walk along beach and Eversham. Chatted with Greg who saw my Warriors hat. He played for Mt Albert, coached a team in Vancouver and played for another in London. He is currently coaching a gridiron team at the Mount. Began watching Breaking Bad DVDs while painting a portrait.
