1963	Dad left home permanently.
1969	Hawaii - Peace Corps Training. Details in Peace Corps Journal.
1975	Typical Day. Two packages of books and three of Christmas gifts to Post Office. Gave clerk a $20 and he said I still had another $10 to spend. I reckon I have been the biggest user of the place in the past month.
1976	Aldersons and Alyson Howell over for slides. Rick and Peter showed up at 2AM, back from Fiji. Day Light Saving kicked in so I didn't get to bed until 4:30AM.
1990	Company survival plan: voluntary redundancy, no company cars, no overtime, no lieu days, 40 hour weeks, no milk, no cordial, no free buses, no soap in showers....
1991	Went to Gladstone to pick up my Goofy comics but they had been sent to NZ. Janet showed me around and I met two artists. Much Disney art on the walls. We ate out at the Canton Cafe. I am pretty certain they didn't have a cook on hand and the waiter was useless. I tried to cheer things up by ordering a fancy drink. But the two women just went on bitching, totally ruining my meal when it was finally delivered.
1992	Fran and Simon arrived at 4:30PM. Looked at their photos of Bali and Thailand. Julie came after work (beauty therapist) and we had supper with a harsh Corbans '91 Cresta Dore. Ian and Tracy came in time to see Breezes' slides and a video of life in Brunei and share an excellent '90 Gallo Zinfindel.
1999	Sa - Whites over with Susi's niece, Mari for a barbecue.
2000	M - Ne and Nao brought Radzeal out to stay for a few days. I played basketball with them at the park.
2008	Middlemore around 2:30PM. Russell was with Gail when I arrived. She is in a different room and has a new roomie, Patricia. They had her out of the bed and onto a chair today. Fed her supper and left around 7PM. Article in local paper has it all wrong!
2011	Su - Jill's where we were joined by Anna Eady for a drink and visit. Jill's son, Martin, came by. He had been surfing today.
