BlackOut  Final week and we weren't allowed to speak English until after supper. Each group had to put on a play - we did "Snow White and Seven Dwarfs". Mark played the wicked queen: "Shesha, shesha, de wal par hai, con ouret subsay sundar hai?". Barb Mutz was Snow White, Sweeney was the kind hearted henchman and also Pugla Hai. I played Grumpy, Joyce was Happy and we walked around singing "hai ho, hai ho". The highlight was Bob Piper as Prince Charming dressed in his Sunday best.

Jas' group did "Robin Hood", John Croes, Richard Earl was Little John, Susan G as Maid Marion and Jaswant was her father. A lot of good fight scenes. David Blado was terrific as the Sheriff of Nottingham's right-hand man - very snooty.

Last group did a Hindi "Laugh In" (Mike Coyle got soaked on the sock-it-to-me bit) and for some reason sang "We Shall Overcome" in Hindi.

Language Test Believe it or not I was the last one to be tested. Kind of affects your nerves. Jeff Theigel and Sumi were my quizzers. And I blew it. Nothing but dead-ends, whatever they asked me I had no answer (in English, let alone Hindi). Finally, I took the initiative and started asking Jeff about his experiences in Fiji. It was easier asking questions than answering them. As it turned out I got a 1+ and I was glad it was over.
