David’s Big OE
After 32 years of living with the family David has made the big step of storing belongings and moving to Minnesota. If he can adjust to the new environment, he might just stay there for awhile, or forever. He is starting off at my brother’s place with his two little cousins.  Update: David returned to New Zealand April 2013. Did you hear? That tumor in Gail’s head damaged her right ear’s nerve. Since the government was willing to pay 75% of the cost of a hearing aid, she is trying one out, but can’t say that it really helps. Update: She never used it and gave it away. Diabetes I have been pre-diabetic for three years and in Feb this year my doctor decided that I now had Type 2. So I’ve got this little torture device and I need to draw blood with it, eh? Funny thing is that the readings are always in the normal range!! So I definitely need to talk to the quack about it. Update: In 2013 I developed nerve damage with swollen feet. |

DAD - Born on farm, went to WWII and met my mother in Austria and came back to be a city-slicker. He has been a store owner, a cab driver, hearing aid salesman, roofer and a real estate agent among other lines of work.

Dr Lindblom patched up my many nosebleeds. Dr Purvis brought David & Ne into the world. Dr Otremba tried very hard to figure out what was wrong with me. Dr Harris has been a big help with my CFS. I thought Dr Bussen had a great name for a dentist.
Doug was a gem giving us treatments at no cost. Now it’s a guitarist, Brent, who looks after our teeth.
Update: In 2011 we moved to the Mount. New Doctor, Giles, wants me to eat oats 3 meals per day. New Dentist, Tim Lee, is a fellow I taught back in 1976! | |
