You Talkin' to ME?

After Moline he became a small grocery store owner (photo).  But in August 1954 he found his true love - TAXI CAB DRIVER - when he hired on at Blue & White.  In 1960 he was given a brand new '61 Ford Falcon, 201, that he drove for many years. I don't think he could tell you every company he has worked for since then, but I have quite a few photos to record most of them.

Nov 1982		 In Nov 1982 he bought a Blue & White taxi. He had a young inexperienced driver use it on weekends. 0n Jan 29 the guy totalled it when he skidded on ice on Highway 12 and Penn Ave (photo). AW

1999		 He lost the one on the left in a smash up that caused the airbag to inflate and there was a fire under the hood.  Even that didn't stop him but on the right you see the LAST taxi when he only drove on Saturdays. 2000
