22nd	23rd	24th
1973	Took photos. Gurmit gave us a tour of Hamilton then we had lunch at The Mandarin with a beaut wine: Montana Pearl (bubbly rosé). Caught the bus at 3PM and got home at 4PM.
1974	Jr Basketball tournament. Sharon Firmin's glasses broke, so she couldn't play and Misc went down to a combined team lead by Karen Flavell. Chaotics team gave me a card and Maori carving for helping them this year. In the boys final, HMV beat Dodgers.
1975	Played tennis with Randy and basketball until I got something in my eye. Left Sleepy Eye and went to Town's.	Jeanie + Eloy
1981	Su - David and I went with Lundholms to Battle Creek park to shoot a Pepsi can and a model airplane with BB guns. At 7PM we picked up many moving cartons from Cathy Reis' friend, Sherri Wade. Kids used boxes to set up a "house" and even slept in it over night.
1982	M - Took the boat for a spin around the whole lake. Tried a spot and got a few nibbles. Ne caught a small one that we threw back. Had lunch in a sheltered bay next to a beaver lodge with large turtles swimming about. Explored Park Rapids. Got a fishing pole for Gail at Pamida. I bought pincherry jelly and a fish scaler. Hot dogs for supper and back out onto the lake. Let David bring us through the channel to the main lake. Found a good spot and Ne caught around 20 fish. David caught a large sunfish and Gail got a large crappie. Tried to troll on way in and all of David's line went off. Old fellow showed us how to fillet, but my dull knives weren't up to it.
1983	T - Went to Bosox game with Lesser. Sat above 1st base dugout and had excellent view of pitches. Al Williams pitched and we won 3 - 1 on Hrbek's homer.
1984	Th - Got to airport in plenty of time for Continental flight to Denver. Details.
1985	F - Derek Harries wanted me to teach him Symphony right there on the spot and he can't even turn on a computer.
1990	Drove to Grand Canyon (2 hours). Saw the train at Williams. Fantastic store at GC with bank and a modern post office. Bought a grey butt-bag {ed. - still have in 2015] with water bottle. Checked out the views from the main lodge areas (video). Took bus to Hopi Point (video), got out took a photo of the river and caught the next return bus. David and I hiked the last section and were on hand when the train arrived (video). Drove over to Desert View (video). Gail and I climbed to the top of the watch tower (video). Took long way back through Navajo Reservation (video) to San Francisco Peaks and Flagstaff. See photos.

2002	Vall's for a few hours to nut out just what kind of website Harlan wants. Nancy took some photos. Harlan gave me a Thumb Drive, after I failed the "get into heaven" test.	peddlin' pastor
2009	Su - Mt Smart to watch Juniors hold on for a win 24-20 and the big boys do the same 34 - 20 over the Raiders. Men were given a pair of Bendon underpants.
2011	T - Only slept between 5 and 6AM. All wired up and afraid to move. The only thing I said I was allergic to was cheese, so what came for morning tea? A cheese melt croissant. Natasha got me some cookies. Fijian cleaner came into the room and I gave her the "psst Nice Bola" which gave her a startle. Turns out that her name was Elena Bola. So we had a good chat. Gail came in afternoon. Ian, Susi, Christian and Kelcie came for an hour..
2018	Th - Rosehill in news for gang members invaded the school to beat up students.
2019	F - Up at 6:30AM to do second colonoscopy prep - 4 hours on the toilet. Gail brought me to Grace at Noon. We chatted with Deb, the receptionist, about the large aquarium. Admitting nurse found irregular heart beat, so she had an ECG done - Sinus rhythm with marked sinus arrhythmia. Sherry and Sara assisted Dr Kumar. I was awake during the procedure and saw that my bowels are beautifully clean with no problems. So now I wonder if the pain comes from the dudodenum. Browen gave me four sandwiches, a fruit bowl and a delicious slice of loaf and a hot coffee. Gail brought me home and we got up a game of Birmingham Brass (Gail won by one point). We stopped half way through for Turkish. At the end we had a great tiramisu and ice cream. Gail went to bed and we played Ice Age. David brought along an internet-only computer for Ne or Gail.
2023	W - My bike helmet came - turns out to be the same color as the Jazz - so will I wear it while diving? Ian sent photos of Heasley at work. Pine pollen killing me. AFL: Freo 74 - Lions 77. Pies down 32 ended up beating Cats 109 - 101.
2024	F - Russell went to Whitianga for a bowls tournament and Ann cancelled out (a bad cold). So I went on my lonesome. Picked up the passes from R's mailbox quick stop for petrol and I still made it to the stadium in 3 hours - work between Papakura and Drury completed (third lane) and 80Km restriction removed so no traffic slowdown until after Manukau. Got to game 2.5 hours before start, so I sat with Peter in an empty stadium watching NSW Cup team beat Bulldogs 42 - 10. Was last home game for Shaun Johnson, Jazz Tavanga and Adam Fenua-Blake. We were ahead at half time 18 - 16 but didn't score in 2nd, losing 34 - 18 to top 8 Bulldogs. Hung out after the game end to see ceremony and haka for Johnson.
