| 1959 | Little League team went to Owatonna to play a team. We won 10 - 2. Played first (4) and second (2). Went 3 for 4 including a homer that cleared the fence and went deep into woods - never found the ball. Hit a hard line drive that crippled the pitcher and bounced to the shortstop who threw me out. Picnic at the O's coach's place. Lyle and I gave the presents to Mr. Bock. Got up a scratch game and I caught for the only time in my life. Went home with Bocks. |  |
| 1960 | Farm - Gary and I played golf, helped grandpa put out manure from the barn and fill in straw. After lunch we picked up the rack, hunted gophers and removed the bee hive from the garage. Went to the rendering plant and saw the dead animals being burnt. Picked apples. Ralph came. Played catch. Jerry's for a visit. Stopped in Redwood Falls to get postcards. Played football, basketball and pitched to each other. |  |
| 1969 | Gail called and told me that as far as she was concerned she and Steve were never engaged and she wanted to see me again before I left for Fiji. [ed. - found out years later that she liked me from the first meeting in '67 and had told Steve that I was the nicest boy she had ever met. Steve made sure that we didn't see each other too often]. | |
| 1970 | Deve drove around in his new truck, M-H's old one that he got for $800. | |
| 1975 | Drove to Moorehead and picked up Gail at Ramada Inn. Went to the University where she had her course. Got to Hartmann's at 6PM and met my cousins. Junior showed us around. Supper and up until 1AM looking at their photos. |  |
| 1977 | 6th form boys and Adrienne showed up and we put up speakers on B and C blocks - very scary on a ladder to top of the buildings. While running cables through attics David Benson put his body through a couple ceiling panels and light in C8. That took us 6 hours and then we practiced for an hour in Sue Miller's office where we set up the gear. | |
| 1979 | W - Toured Henderson vineyards: Penfolds, Lincoln and Corbans. Bought 11 bottles and 2 flagons but not the '78 Grand Vin Claret which was only ok. McDonalds for lunch where Hobo the Clown was doing tricks. Into the Waitakeres and did the Pukematekeo Summit trail for some magnificent views of the city and dam. Went to Kauri Park. Both kids got muddy before we even got to the Cascades Track which was good fun all the way. Drove to Muriwai Beach and it was windy and cold and we were the only ones out. Checked into Twin Palms motel there. |

| 1980 | F - Mom came with Roberta. After lunch we drove to Western Life building (4 miles) and past David's school. Ro followed David everywhere and did everything he did. | |
| 1982 | Su - Went to Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. 560 acres beyond Chanhassen (map). Wondered around the Minneapolis Men's Garden Club display and a few of the trails. Cup of soup and snack. We drove around the remainder. Came across a fellow whose radiator hose had come off. I lent him a screw driver. Stopped at flower displays for photos. Drove over to Pike Island under Mendota bridge in Fort Snelling Park and walked to the Nature Center. Minnehaha Falls and Red Lobster. Back home for a walk around the block. |

| 1987 | Steve Graham shouted us to a meal at Sarmajaz. Had a chance to chat with his aunt, Margaret's family, Ray, Diane and Jonathan. Turns out they they live next to Cunningham. Had an excellent Nobilos French style red. |  |
| 1990 | Got lost on way to Streasicks and were 45 minutes late. Walked their yard that backs onto a stand of trees that have deer (video). Multi-leveled house (video). Drove over to Godfathers. for pizza. Back at their place for watermelon and gift exchange. Gave me a hat, Viking glass filled with nuts that I gave to Bernie and a Viking rug. |  with Tara |

| 2004 | Emery's to show Christopher how to solve simultaneous equations, then onto the Warriors game with them and Owen. Sported a young team with some playing for the first time and they gave the first place Roosters a run for their money being in it right to the final siren, losing 30-24. Went to Whites to farewell Liti and greet Mel and Doug who are off to Fiji with Susi and Kelcie. | |
| 2017 | T - Yardwork. Parcel Post to pick up my Red Bull racing shirt and driving gloves that I ordered from Spain. Which I wore to the Australian race (everyone loved it). I didn't go into the pits again and managed to limp into second after Max took a big risk and jumped ahead of me and I had two low dice rolls. |  |
| 2018 | W - Des delivered our keyless 2016 Jazz RS and took the Yaris away. Lots of things to learn before we drive it. | |
| 2019 | Th - We had an excellent Sileni 2018 Syrah with a fish supper with Colleen. | |
| 2023 | T - Jazz to AA for WOF. Bayfair to get cash, then back to AA to get the bag I left there. Photos from Senad in Bangkok. Listened to the Twins walk off Rangers in 16 innings on a bases loaded walk. AFL: Saints 97 - Tigers 57 Port 133 - GWS 85. Watched Tall Blacks beat Jordan 95 - 87 in overtime. |  |
