1959	I set up my models (US Marine, USS Nautilus, USS Missouri, PT-boat, Hansom Cab, Spitfire, Ferrari, helicopter and B52) . Mama brought us and Kincy to Lake Nokomis. Little League (Phelps): lost to TomTom 3 - 2. I drove our runs in the 2nd with my only over-the-fence homerun (Richie on base). I also smashed a line drive to left and then they gave me an intentional walk. I played first. I was "the man" - Mr Bock and Mom gave me a 99¢ each which was the reward back then so you wouldn't be considered a "pro" by earning a dollar.
1972	Drizzled all day and it took me a while to get a fire going, but with Dick's efforts we got up a good blaze. Whites and Breezes also came. We ate inside. Julie and I roasted marshmallows for everyone. We attacked Dick's wine (hock) and looked at my slides.
1973	Rodewald's where we met Bill and Miriam from Waiuku (on their way to Fiji), Bev and Vicki from Oregon and Brenda, a nurse. Had a medium Corban's Liebstraum.
1980	M - Murphy's Mart with Paula and Lori. Bought a digital clock for $8.97. They bought David a large police car. McDonald's for lunch. Then KMart where they bought Ne a large Minnie Mouse savings bank. I bought a six pack of Kentucky Derby beer cans for my collection. Bob Wandersee called to say that David still in coma. Went swimming in the neighbor's above ground pool.
1981	T - Hargrove called me at work from the airport and we were able to talk for 15 minutes. Towns came for supper and we showed them the new place. Joyce gave us $2000 so we'd have enough in bank to qualify for the mortgage.
1983	Th - Town's to visit Wandersees. Great barbecued steaks. Janet accidently dumped whole pepper shaker onto her potato.
1984	Sa - Called Mike Sanders in NZ to tell him I was flying down.
1989	Steve's and Patricia's last day. Peter came and Mike Milne met us at the Jolly. Had a big banana split. Migraine by the time we got back to mill. Stayed until 8:30PM to see Steve off. Long chat with Leszek on east/west, religion etc... Feared petrol was too low so went to Waiuku, but all four stations closed. Douglas tried to siphon from their van, no luck. Told Gail to drive out with petrol if I didn't make it home. I did.	The Jolly
1995	F - Irene fell down steps with a Classic Mac. So I called Gail who brought Irene to Takanini emergency. Broken and crushed bones on left wrist. TP at Ronda's.
1997	M - Day 28 of our 3 month journey around the world. See 1997 Trip Photo Journal.
2004	Electric bill ($360), van license renewed ($200) and bought the world's first action replay postage stamps.
2011	Th - Into Ascot to have Jenny do X-Rays of rib and lumbar ($255). After a curry meatloaf supper we played Dominion.
2016	Th - Managed to download my first app onto the phone which I will use with my new Nabu X wearable.
2018	Sa - Ne brought Amira Makam candy. Terraforming Mars. Turkish. Istanbul and Castles of Burgundy. Gail to bed and Ne left. David and I played Bora Bora. Watched Warriors beat 4th place Dragons 18 - 12 (hightlights).
2020	T - Specsavers to get my new glasses (distance and reading) and yes they strain my head. Retried the field test and failed again (Cynthia from Brasil). Glaucoma in left eye? Watched St Kilda upset 1st place Port (highlights).
2022	Th - Walked to surgery where Charlotte Rickards made a change of high blood pressure medications. Listened to the Twins beat the Tigers, with all of the recent trades seeing action, while painting a portrait. AFL: Tigers 128 - Eagles 93 (much better than the first loss by 107).
