20th	21st	22nd
1963	On my way to pick up Angi when I had a flat at Nicollet and 494. Mom had the key to the trunk so I had to wait an hour until Sis brought it. MWard's to get a new tire.
1970	Stopped at Nausori for groceries (plastic bags - a first). Walked to the bay to eat my lunch and look over the Iberia that was in town bringing a couple thousand tourists to add to the Christmas shoppers.
1971	Shopping with Gail at Southdale which has expanded and seems twice as large now. Girls were outasight. Prices up on everything, many clothing stores.
1974	Chris's for champagne with Bob Lark, who was serving up chicken. Went to meet Vilsoni on the 4PM. Played billiards and snooker until Breezes came. Men played darts, then chow, coffee and gifts.
1975	Mary and Jerry Josephson visited.
1978	Lunch at Smithers with Mom then we walked around Bucklands Beach, Musick Point and Eastern Beach with him. Had Christmas for Mom, but I also gave Gail her camera, so she could use it. Mom gave me a Minnesota tee shirt and a 3D wooden puzzle. Sanders came and gave mom the marl table she had commissioned. Excellent '72 Cabernet Sauvignon.
1984	F - Went to see Dr. Post, an otolarnotholgist in Lowry Bldg, who said nothing wrong. Probably migraine (Horton's Disease), vascularitis and glasses causing pain. He is going to send me to a neurologist.
1985	Sa - Drove to Awhitu Regional Park - an hour's drive. About 30 Km north of Waiuku. Had the place to ourselves. Walked along the shore to Brooks homestead and checked out the camping area. Then across a marsh, more beach and up a hill to a lookout. Into water - that was clear and warm with jellyfish. Kids did their thing in the sand. Saw 4 new birds including quail. Hiked through sheep area on the way back. On the drive home we came upon a hawk eating a roadkill possum.
1988	Lamorna and her dogs arrived for a meal (Penfolds chardonnay) and visit until 9PM.
1989	Christmas lunch at Chantelle (Linda J and Leszek rode with me). Tried a "Fallen Angel" (cherry brandy, vodka, cream). Excellent smorgasboard. Peter Taylor showed up an hour late. Craig wore a suit. Interesting chat about Dungeons & Dragons, Rocky Horror and that vein by all the younger ones.

1993	Dad happened to get a glimpse of Granny dancing naked outside going from the shower to her room before the rest of us were up. Despite rain most of us went to Miranda Hot Pools (Ian, Susi and Granny went to Thames). Had a good time throwing balls around in the pool, as we were about the only ones there. Snack lunch and left when the rain hit again. After supper we played Game of Knowledge (video), Pictionary and Scattergories while roasting marshmallows.
1996	Sa - Awhitu Ed Camp. Met Rob and Yvonne Oliver who had come out to pick up their sons Dale, Shane and Jason. After supper we played pitanque with Jackie and Trisha. Inside for Charades and bridge and a Rosemount '95 cabsav. Guess Gail got locked in toilet and had to remove louvres and crawl and fall out the window.
1997	Su - Aldies over for chat, snacks and prezzies.
1999	T - Harris for earache and we had a long chat about everything including trip photos on his walls. Gave him a Christmas card and he got all emotional.
2000	Th - Brundell was drilling holes in the east paddock for the trees, He stayed for supper. Doug over and we all went for a swim. He brought muffins. Played Rock Fever.
2001	I built a waterfall piece for the fishpond. Call from Smithers to say they are off to Christchurch for a few weeks.
2004	email from Paul Lees saying that Karen came out of her 3 week coma, the very day that she was to go to a hospice to die. Mom and Bob's new car totalled in yet another accident. Helen's where we scanned photos she is sending to go into a Woman's Day magazine article on her lost bridesmaid. Clark's where Sandy dumped on me for a couple hours with her PAG problems. Stayed for a bowl of tortellini. Got home at 10PM to find that I missed a rare visit from Berthe who dropped off birthday and Christmas gifts - a couple Donald Duck comic books (with Goofy) and a card all in Dutch. A cool Goofy doll that sings "White Christmas" arrived from Chris.
2007	Faringdon village where Jasmine pretty much convinced us that Nambucca is the place to be. We then checked out the downtown area, where parking is reverse/angle. Had brunch at Nambucca Bookshop Cafe. In the afternoon we went back to FV and looked at a house that's for sale. If we had the money, we would have bought on the spot. We drove to Scotts Head, walked the extremely long perfect beach as it was too windy to go in. Bought some freshly picked sweet corn for supper at Sutton's Bananas. Gail went for a swim in the river just across from the apartment.	Scott's Head sandbar?
2010	T - Picked up meds (Kevin yelled out: "John, do you want me to wrap this [ed. - my pills bag] in Christmas paper?").
2017	Th - We went to Rotorua where we picked up Burgers at Carl's Jr. I also had Jalapeno Poppers. Brought them to the beach front to eat [sign]. Then Mini Golf (scoresheet). The place had rabbits and birds loose. Dunkin Donuts to do just that. Just an hours drive with toll road speeding things up (110Kph and $2 each way).
2018	F - Evolution said no bike, so I chose a cheaper model, Tuesday 3.
2022	W - Saw doctor Roberts who had no explanation for my two episodes of arthritic pain.
