2010	F - Russell and Ann brought Mike along. Ann gave me a bottle of pinot noir, a Goofy toy and and two water pumps (see one in action). Had an Old Coach Road '08 Chardonnay with takeaways. Ian came by later for dessert (Ann's trifle) and he gave me 50 Philosophy Ideas You Really Need to Know. Had a game of TP, before the birthday cake.
2011	Sa - Colleen gave me a bottle of wine. Ann Emery called and I also had a word with Russell. Paul and Irene arrived with a cake and a wine. Had a great time sharing stories before they went off to Jason's 40th.	ex Colleen
2012	M - B'day emails from Clarkx, Colleen A, Johnsons, Matt and Ian (back from India/Singapore). Emery called. Facebook greetings from Doug W, Steve, Tracy and Leon (off to Raratonga).
2013	T - emails from Mike C and Colleen A. Russell, Trish, Angi and Carl called. Had a crappy salad, okay meal, crappy OOB Macadamian/Honey ice cream and a crappy spice cake that was hard as a rock. Camera wouldn't flash so quasi-crappy photo. Played Smallworld with Cursed! expansion. Merchant helped me win.
2014	W - emails from Leland, Trish, Colleen A and MC. Great photo/card from ICW. Many Facebook greetings. I opened Settlers of Catan and we played three times stopping for a curry meal with a Castellani 2013 Chianti (wicker bottle) and later for cake.
2015	Th - Mike C called - Sandy on Antique Roadshow (photo). Mike had heart operation. email from Hansen. Angi called. Colleen A called. Turkish with a Zonin 2014 Chianti and then the Dominion - Adventures. Cake and ice cream. Trish called. Many emails and 7 Facebook messages.
2016	Sa - emails from Leland, Clark, Hoffsis, Steph, Roche and Colleen A. Angi called. We had cheesecake and opened gifts (before - after). Trish called.	ex Gail
2017	Su - Coffee Club. I had the special, banana and bacon pancakes and a Vienna coffee. Brought out Dominion Empires which we played a couple times. Trish and Russell called - each ready to move into new places. After a roast supper with a Clearview Rosé we played Castles of Burgundy.
2018	Brought out Prelude to Terraforming Mars (easy expansion). Had a Stables Reserve 2017 Pinot Noir that was harsh. Cola Spider ice cream followed by gifts. Played a couple games of Kingdom Builder.
2019	T - email greetings from Steph, Angi, Tintin and Colleen A. Dug out El Grande to relearn it. Had a "Swedish meatball" (with pork!) meal with a fruity Chris Ringland 2017 Shiraz. Terraforming followed by German chocolate cake that Ne made. Trish called at 11:30PM and we had a rip-roaring talk for an hour.
2020	Th - emails from Colleen A, Smithers, Newsy, Angi, Mike C (in Greymouth), Steve M. We tried the expansion to Euphoria, Ignorance is Bliss. Russell called - back from meeting world's most arrogant man up north. We had homemade pizza with a 2016 Villa Maria Merlot. Then a game of Burgundy before bramble berry pie and Butterscotch-Caramel-Walnut ice cream. Trish called at 11PM after sending me this email - I had sent her a photo of the pie.
2021	F - Day 106 of Delta lockdown (6138 cases). BDay emails from Leland, Ian, Mike C, Roché, Colleen A, Newsy and Russell. Opened a 2013 Tempranillo for our supper, which we had in the candlelit sunroom. Russell called. Played Yedo.
2022	Sa - Birthday emails from Clark, Russell, Leland, Rochè, Angi, Smithers and Ian. Terraforming Mars. Pizza supper with a 2021 Selak's Berries & Cream Rosè. Trish called. Brought out Finca for a few plays. Bramble berry pie for dessert.
2023	Su - Ne over for gifts (neat charger and whip cream from her), shirt (see photo) and headphones from Gail. Chocolate cake. Then we played Terra Nova and tried to play the new Catan (photo) but stopped when we found Gail doing it incorrectly (photo). Trish called. I got Burger King for supper.
2024	T - Birthday email from Rochè. We played "River of Gold" for the first time. Russell called. We had brumbleberry pie and opened my gifts. Trish called with her tales of woe. Had pork schnitzel and lefsa for the meal with a very sweet 2022 Mt Difficulty Chenin Blanc. Then it was a game of "Lost Cities". email and photos from Steve.
