1964	For English we wrote a letter to the editor. If it was published we got an "A" and if someone responded to it, an "A+". [ed. - would have been so easy to respond to your own under another name, but I didn't. Unfortunately, didn't get a copy of mine but do have the response].
1971	Told to watch out for wild Rajend (Shu Prasad). He stole the QVS herd yesterday and is fiery mad.
1972	Suva with Murphs to find Coke® now in bottles (hated the can stuff as it had a tinny taste). Ate at Nanking - pile of banana pancakes.
1973	Mr Woolf spoke to us during the morning break about fund raising activities for the gym. Ray was very impressed with my multiplication worksheet. Christmas cards from Inez and Jim F.	Jim's
1980	Sa - Owen and fiancé came to look at car (his was just totalled). Mike and Sandy came to look at the house and ended up staying three hours. Mike is interested in same music as me and we hit it off.
1985	Sa - Finally, after 835 hours the temperature went over freezing (0°C / 32°F)
2012	Th - Gail went into the ocean today with a boogie board. Up to her ankles and the undertow knocked her down so she came out. Went for my first swim in the pool today. 30°C degrees on on thermometer, but my old pool at 28° seemed warmer?? I did six lengths (about two meters longer than the Malley Pool).
2016	T - Atmore's to meet up with Christine and Pippa. From there we went to Osteria da Gino for a meal fueled by an excellent Ricasoli 2014 chinati ($53.50) and a so-so Loggia del Sole 2012 Nero A'Vola ($43). Good fun catching up with the two.
2018	F - Irene arrived and we spent the whole afternoon listening to her family stories. Had an excellent 2015 Quarisa Petite Sirah with a beef supper. Then it was Nederlands TTR (Irene creamed us in unusual game with only a couple doubling of tracks) and Survive!
2023	Th - Shot out to 34OC to finish laying the bbq pavers, weed, prune and uplift stones from drive edge. Watched Breakers lose to Tazmania 78 - 89 setting up a third game to advance to finals.
