1968	Today we had a meeting for the Record Coordinators. Lois was good, but Lloyd bumbled through as his glasses kept sliding down his nose. Les, Dan and I were introduced and had to march up front.
1973	Ray came over for supper. Smithers joined us at 8PM and we played 500 until 2:30AM, Ray and I winning 4 out of 7.
1974	Michael John claims to have ESP and on Radio i callers can try to guess an object in his house via the waves he sends out. Gail hates it.
1978	Th - First strike day ever for NZ teachers and they had to choose Thursday. Why not Friday and get a long-weekend, too?
1982	T - Unit meeting - John told us about his accountabilities - Most of us were trying to stay awake. Skunked both Curt and Paul - 2nd time this week and 8th time overall.
1983	W - Kevin Kelly flew in and offered me a job in Wellington after talking to him for 3 hours at Holiday Inn Airport #2. I turned him down, saying I didn't want to live there. He came to me instead of me going to Chicago because he wanted to meet "the ogre" who wrote him those letters.
1986	Su - Sanders where we joined neighbors, friends and relatives to surprize Mike for his 40th when he returned from getting Lia at his mother's. Chatted with Andy and Mary (into tramping), Joneses, Aldersons.
1989	Letter from Dick who is alone in Arizona buying things for their new house. Gave Doli a call to say that we would show up for curry. Love the way she calls me "Malicik". Spoke to Mike Sanders for a while to cheer him up on his birthday. Called Ken to arrange buying his car for $8200.
1991	We hiked down (video) to the beach where Susi was able to load up on oysters and other shell kana (video). Then walked out to the island (video). Found a bush with thorns surrounding leaves. Susi went out further with Ne, Trisha and Tracy to fish (video). But Susi was able to load up on oysters. Processing the shells (video.) Jackie and Mario trying to get a nerf ball into the basket (video). Played "Murder" until midnight.
1998	M - Open home and the Hamilton couple spent a long time checking everything (they eventualy bought it).
2003	Gail and I loaded up river stones at Roseanne's and then joined them at her mother's for a barbeque meal outside.
2004	Hickford's to begin working on his new Acer computer. He gives me magazines that he gets via Ann H.
2014	Su - Breakers for an all day breakfast meal, with coffee and tropical cheese cake (seemed like a fluffy lemon on a burnt hard base) for $34.10. email from Anare - in charge of moving Nausori market and bus depot.
2019	Sa - Made a list of our board games (173 with expansions).
2022	W - Bastard gardener removed the gigantic cape gooseberry plant thinking it was a weed. I always said that they really aren't gardeners.
2023	Th - David arrived with even longer hair. We taught him "Lost Cities" and "Finca". Turkey supper and then Wingspan.
