1972	Kini came for a meal and said Lusi is moving in next door. Lenati got a brand new truck - tooting horn all around the compound.
1974	First weekend of no gas (petrol) sales.
1975	Audrey, Fiona, Lynsey and Tina came for a visit, only to leave suddenly when an elderly friend died playing cards at their place.
1977	Aldies gave me a lift to Papatoetoe where Dr Poole examined - optic nerve stretched and that it isn't unusual.
1978	Th - Patricia opted out of math class to do textbooks (she can't understand Maguire). Backyard video before bringing mom to the airport after supper, checked in, went to the observation deck and had a drink. Had to rush her to the boarding at 9PM.
1980	Sa - Sold dinette ($95 - we paid $135), clothesline ($40), trike ($9) and wading pool ($17). Many calls about my tuner/amp and Doug brought his over for me to use in case mine sold. Took down the spice cabinets.
1991	Ne and I made a Bart Simpson cake which we delivered to Matthew with ghettoblaster playing "Do The Bartman". Also made a Bartday card for him. David gave him a Zoid and I gave him Halloween rings. Karioitahi - Granny sat in the water up to her neck. 3½ hours of bridge until 12:30PM.
1993	Found a plush toy skunk at D*E*K*A for $15. When skunked at cribbage we are awarded the skunk and have to display it in our room.
2000	W - Both Senad and Titania painting house. We played Monopoly. Titania won. They both found it exciting and loved playing it as small children would.
2003	Had a delicious peach from our paddock tree. Gail has discovered 3 young goldfish (black/grey) to go with our the four elders. Monique called and is missing NZ. She told me to give Gail, David and Renee a "French Kiss" from her.
2007	F - Laps. Had Chinese with Russell and Ann and trifle without custard. Visited Mike at home (40 stitches removed from head today). Tracy there for the night shift. TP at Houghton's. Joined by Paul who's eye is still has sight limits. Emery brought a box of chocolates that had melted into a gooey mess.
2012	Th - Dr Giles says my blood glucose is high and I should go onto Metformin.
2015	M - Louise (with home grown blueberries) came for lunch.
2018	F - Gail and I had a look at 34 Ocean Crest, Papamoa with Cheryl. Nice house and garage but yard will need some doing over. Little old Vi proud of cheap clock she won.
2021	T - Ian arrived with a bottle of 2015 Henrietta Pinot Noir that was truly excellent. We covered so many topics up 12:30AM. Saki has only days left (soft tissue cancer) and they are living in Blenheim. After supper we played Stone Age and then had dessert.
