18th	19th	20th
1968	Les drove Dan, Don and me up to Darrell's lake cabin for Dan's farewell (Army) after dropping Judy at Beatrice's in Fridley. Had a flat near Isanti and the spare was flat. So Dan and Les walked the tires to a station. Klyberg and I played catch and blackjack for 2 hours while we waited. Got to the cabin after midnight and the guys went for a swim.
1969	Darrell's lake home: Klyberg and I cruised the lake on a pantoon boat playing cribbage. We all played basketball in the evening.
1970	Dave's for some home brew. Brought some marshmallows and we roasted them over the coals of the kitchen's wood burner stove. Frank, Sue and I had a good time recalling trivia such as: Rags (Ragland T. Tiger) in Crusader Rabbit and Mighty Joe Young.
1972	Taru and his older brother, Rajendra, brought cups and saucers as a wedding gift with a some yams and beans thrown in. We played Chinese Checkers.
1980	Sa - Got to Gutzke's at noon. Whole Krohn family showed up. Had a meal at 4:30PM. Dick went to town and got plastered. I watched Duran - Leonard fight with the younger crowd. Wandersee bought an old barber chair. Gail went to Heritage Fest with others and I put the kids to bed, in the camper (audio). Met Louise Jones, from VA; Arlene Phillips and her mother, Marie Malmberg; Joleen Hartung and Cheryl's husband, Paul. Bill K showing off. 1983	T - Storm snapped our apple tree. Swansons over for a barbecue, but storm stopped it. Electricity out until 7PM.
1986	Sa - Gail and I went to Clark's for samosas and bad wines - spritzy. After Billy T. James we played Game of Knowledge. Sophie was up the whole time demanding attention.

1991	Fish 'n chips to Aldies for the boys' birthdays. Doug whipped up Golden Dreams. Gave James a stamp collecting book and stamps, rocks, candy, halloween rings, sparklers and $10 in 5 cent pieces (photo). After cake the women went to see "Little Shop of Horrors". Doug got out the guitar and proceeded to ignore the boys who fought and wrecked the house at will. Outdoors to play Ghosts, soccer and climb into the treehouse.

2005	Gail had an MRI of her head done today - this will give us final proof whether the steriotactic treatment killed the tumor. Ian and Susi over for bridge. Ian brought along chartreuse and beetroot dip. The heavy rains flooded their garage. Had an Yalumba '02 cab-sav shiraz.
2008	Trish and David came by for lunch. Gave Gail a duck whose head is held together via magnets and Phase 10 which we played (similar to Pass Rummy) for her birthday. Watched the Warriors beat Bulldogs 40 - 22.
