1979	Kids and I walked up to Aldies and met Mia. Sanders (for Kathy's birthday) with Aldersons and Gail's new guitar. Kathy played her new Barry Manilow album all day long. Mike recorded us singing. Doug's first time to Sanders place.
1985	Su - Dad called. Nadine stopped in with a pavlova, a tin of peaches and a bottle of cream as a welcome back gift. Martin stayed in the car as usual. Brought kids to Breeze's where Chris watched them while we went to Dougall's with the Nuekierks (Kaj and Vivienne from So Africa) and Shannons (Terry and Heather and baby daughter). Was a well organized and well lubricated evening. An okay Matua Valley '82 Claret and a very good Montana '82 CabSav full body and good oak. Everyone had been overseas so there were plenty of stories.
1997	M - An hour with Kim. Brought Fab along to Valentine's for Ve's birthday meal. We had BIG drinks. Fab told waiter that it was Ve's birthday so she got a cake with sparklers and jelly beans. Ve then told him that Ne was her twin and off he went. Had to chase him down and tell it wasn't the case.
2007	email from David who is moving in with Grandpa. Ian stopped in with the Worst 100 Singles of the Last 25 Years and left with a bag of firewood and one filled with persimmons. Kjell came by with a fantastic Saint Claire 2006 Pinot Noir for a visit and meal. Found out that he has finished his book Hidden in the Forest.
2009	Elaine's to check her computer before she hands it over. Movers emptied her place, with a little help from me as she sent me home at 4PM with a carload of stuff.
2014	M - Queens Birthday. We had Colleen over for a meal with a lovely St Martin 2013 merlot.
2022	Th - Played Concordia Italy and Castles of Burgundy and had Bluebird Butter Chicken chips that were powerful. Watched Warriors make a big comeback only to lose 32 - 30 to 1st place Rabbitohs.
