| 1970 | From a letter: "It is so extremely hot these days with no rain, no wind, no clouds. About noon I am drenched. The heat tires me out so I don't get as much done as I did previously". The film this week was 'Planet of the Apes'. I doubt that the boys understood it 100% but they enjoyed the farce. Ravulolo, who has red hair, was given the title 'Minister of Science' as he looks like that ape. |  |
| 1975 | Walked into town in the rain to see lawyer Gary Craig about securing a mortgage. Aldersons over with a projector and we spent the evening looking at slides. | |
| 1976 | Breezes over for barbecue - ate outside on deck. Kids played with Gail's wigs and were hilarious. Looked at our slides. |  |
| 1979 | Office gave back my sheet for printing with a note: "Have HOD approve", so I wrote on it: "I am!". | |
| 1980 | F - Leighton Clark came by to finalize arrangements for buying the property. Sold car to Gail's KFC boss for $1200 (we had paid $1050). | |
| 2002 | Doug over for some Scattergories (game, sisters and time) and he beat me on two rounds. | |
| 2004 | Su - Dropped off to stay with Chris while Gail went with Ann and Russell to see Meat Loaf at Western Springs. | |
| 2009 | Emery's at 4:30PM as requested only to wait 15 minutes until Russell found the passes. We still made it in time to catch the juniors game from the start. They led the whole game only to lose it in the final minute. Bought a wristband in memory of and to support the family of Sonny Fai. New MC, Kimberly, is a young female dressed in the cheergirl's outfit. No mascot, but a fellow in a Superman outfit was running around. Jay Williams and Crew sang before and at halftime. Fireworks as Steven Price led the team out for his 300th NRL game. So-so game until Hohaia came on near the halftime and proceded to score twice. Won 26 - 18. Stayed for the presentation to Price. |

| 2017 | T - Gail over to 3B where the leak detector didn't do any detecting and told her we needed new washers in the taps. So she was upset and didn't go to Mah Jonng. Making up a batch of oatmeal only to discover that the "ground almond" was really cardamon! | |
| 2023 | T - New fence finished. Biked to 34OC for the usual yardwork. Gym and pool (10). Colleen Hamlin was in the pool so we chatted. Watched Melbourne run over Tigers in preseason game. Watched a riveting Prisoners. |  |
