1970 | Emosi left for Suva and Murray left for Manasa's village. I was given a tour of the school and met a very happy Sarj who runs the local store. Diane whipped up some potatoes in their new oven. | |

Ran into Neomai and Kitione. Post Office, M-H, BP and Cummings Street. Picked up Woody from his air condition office. Nausori for a curry lunch then onto QVS. The PCV house now has a beautiful garden and much need shelving. Unger has built a cage around his bed, with a padlock on the door. Whites are now living in Mitchell's house. Hargrove & Roko with Jobe, Unger, Heasley and Neil Grant each came down to say "hi". Mela, Ranadi's sister, is their housegirl. Set up stereo and listened to albums. Bridge until midnight under Coleman light. | Hargroves Don Mela |
