1963	Got my class ring (blue stone) [ed. - Mom said that if I made A honor roll for the year she'd pay - I did, she did].
1971	Suva with Daya. Waited at Post Office an hour for rain to clear. Walked to the market hoping to get a cab, but no luck so I walked to the Suva Yacht Club. Breeze's arrived around 5PM. Helped them dock in the rain and then Fran made us a meal on board and finally we (including Phil) slept on the boat.	RSYC
1976	Wilkins and Rick arrived at 7PM (on way to Fiji). Ate and looked at Fiji slides until midnight.
1993	Steve Graham visited. He is making presentations of his life insurance software. Whites went to the art display with us. Ne sold a piece for $20. Adults went to Valentine's for our anniversary meal. We had "Fritz" again, from Yugoslavia and has been here for seven years. Had a great Freddie Fudpucker. Looked at slides with an excellent TeMata '92 dry white.
1994	Gail and I brought Pam and Ann to Alfriston hall where we joined Paul, Mike and Irene, plus two young couples for TP. Too many for one team and we didn't do well. I won a pot plant for a door prize. Bought ourselves into first place along with every other team and began second half. We were still in first going into last round which was Current Events and we bombed out.
1998	Th - Trish visited in afternoon and Doug in the evening. He stripped to his undies and jumped into the pool (20°C) to be the first one to use it. He joined us for a Thai meal before playing RnR TP.
2000	Su - Brought Whites to Brundell's for a tour and coffee.
2001	Ne brought Stephanie to meet Berthe and it turns out that Berthe knows Walter's [former boyfriend of Steph] parents from Holland days. Chris called and I spoke to Mom - her house badly damaged by a fire yesterday. They are staying at Estelle's.
2002	Went for a long walk with dad in the chilly weather. Ne made spaghetti for supper and then did a major cleanup of her bedroom and the lower bathroom. I did an even longer walk with Lavonne (her diabetes is way up) and then settled in to watch the Twins win the first game of League Champs 2 - 1 over Angels.
2003	Trish called to tell us that Doug had taken his life.
2009	Th - Listened to the Twins become Central Division Champions by defeating the Tigers in a marathon 12 inning game. Yep, its Homer Hanky time.
2010	F - Ngwhai told Gail that the family who received our furniture actually applauded the long mirrored unit.
2011	Sa - Mike Hickford passed away this morning. Steph over for a meal and we exchanged gifts. She gave us items she bought at an "American" store near Mt Wellington. We looked at her photos this year's stay in France.
2012	M - Showed Mike and Kathy our villa and yard. Had a sweet Sacred Hill 2011 Sav Blanc with dinner.
2021	F - Day 52 of Delta lockdown (362 cases). Farm Street to get a medical certificate (don't need glasses for driving). I had to draw a circle, put in hours of a clock and show 7:20 on it; and write my name and put today's date under it. I passed with flying colors.
2023	Su - I was taught Cascadia and then we played a couple games of Arkopolis.
