1968 Jim's "Smoker" (stag party) at Theodore Wirth Golf Club with Les and Darrell. Mostly card playing - buc and hearts with "Curly". His brother Joe was a riot. Talked to Denny Johnson. Leroy was his usual self.
1984 Th - Dr. Walsh gave me a 60 patch test on my back and then up and down each arm. Decided that I need allergy shots for dust, mold and pollen. No real reactions while there, but when I got home the right side of my head went extremely rotten so I missed out on Armstrong's Open House.
1985 F - Drove to Waikato North Head where I met Wal Cutten, Chris Robins and John Hogan to discuss computer needs. Wal gave me a tour. Two giant scoop shovels on rail tracks.

1990 We shifted from the guest room to Angi's. Drove to Galleria (huge downtown mall with very exclusive shops). Had fun in Best of Everything store - many weird devices. Angi made lunch which had Jim kidding her as she never cooks. Had an okay '89 Austin Blush (Slaughter Leftwich) with it. We all got neat stuff at Wal-Mart, including no-focus binoculars. Over to Atchalaya for a cajun meal. Real buzz in the place. I had a Bayou Buster (rum, blue curcao, orange and pineapple juice). Had popcorn calamari for entree - very good. Then shrimp served seven ways. Colored fellow kissed woman he was with - so I kissed Gail and he smiled. Others thought I was going to be done over by him. We called Joyce. Dick finally had the operation. We bought a giant sized sport bag to hold all of today's purchases. Video of Jim taking photo. video of Kitty.

1997 Sa - Day 68 of our 3 month journey around the world. High = 84°F. Prescott Valley Swap Meet was interesting and I found some Goofy items.
2000 T - Gail and I saw Dr Sillars and we decided to remove the tumor when school ends in Dec.
2002 Met Barb at Taco John's in Luverne during her lunch break. She has to be ready for Derek's party after the football game tonight as he may have invited as many as 60. Trip Report. Janet arrived from Texas just minutes ahead of us to New Ulm. So we had a big crowd helping unload the trailer and fill Joyce's apartment with boxes. Hy-Vee for $1.95 chicken dinner.
2003 Gail bought an 8' rimu sideboard that we put into the dining room [sold in 2011]. Whites over for Upwords with Gail and Ne while I watched Warriors beat Bulldogs 48 - 22 in the quarter finals; Meli had a record 5 tries (highlights).
2012 Th - Went to main building where I watched some snooker. Ash and Alan Burt got the indoor bowls gear out and we played a for over an hour. A fellow came along and told us the was upside down and that made Ash happy cause he was going on about a "square" that we couldn't find. Sandy surprized to see us playing since she had just put into the newsetter that Indoor Bowls has stopped due to lack of interest.
2014 Sa - Newsy sent us Montana huckleberry jam and honey (AG Dept removed it) as I had told him that I didn't know huckleberries existed.
2018 Gail and I headed to Bev's where we played Ludwig and Burgundy before having a chicken supper. Then we taught her "Fresco". Colleen called to talk to me...Dave's cancer spread to lungs. Bev gave us a hooded dog bed. We used the Navigator on the way home which was impressive with data provided, but since Gail was along I couldn't hear the instructions. Stopped at Matamata Maccas and it tracked us into the parking lot. Filet 'O Fish going for $6.10!!!!
