1968	Let Darrell use my convertible to impress his date, Patty, when he brought her to the picnic at Honeywell Park. I went with with Les and Judy. Joined by Klybergs, Phil (with his corvette), Darrell's sister, Patty, with Chuck (he roomed with us). Played softball. I played horseshoes with Les.	Chuck
1969	Moved in with Mom, Chris, Bob and Nan for my last month in Minnesota. Paid $150 fine to break the lease on the Chicago apartment (paycheck $156.36).
1974	Sanders came by in their new car to pick up the cassette recorder. While they were here the McGhies stopped in with lemons. Then Breezes dropped in with gifts they picked up in New Plymouth.
1981	T - Up at 5:40AM to go to work with Strom - 6:30AM start.
1997	M - Day 70 of our 3 month journey around the world. High = 80°F. Bill got dizzy and numb (had 1½ pints of blood removed today) so Joyce and I brought him to the VA hospital where he spent the night.
2002	Su - Went with Patty, Bob and Janet to Carl's in Essig for supper. Bill and Shirley showed up and joined us at Gutzke's.	Carl's
2013	Su - Went to Anna's 90th with June and Ron. Met her daughter Pia. Spoke to Terry and Brenda and met Geraldine (Hungry). At the drinks table I was going for a red, when June pointed out the Stables 2012 Gewurztraminer she and Gail were having. Asked her if it was sweet (as that is the current style which I don't like). She said no, its spicy. I said it was beer, shook the bottle and foam appeared. So down the drain and tried another bottle which was much better. Neither Gail nor June could tell. I told Anna about it and she said it was she who put three left over beers from yesterday's meal, thinking to use it in cooking. Met Brian who built the petanque courts. Sat with Pia, Else, Peter and Alison Ferris. Chatted with Ash. Had a 2010 Merlot CabSav with the meal. Couple games of Dominion with David.
2022	Th - SpecSavers to get two pairs of new glasses for $75 thanks to Southern Cross policy. Optometrist thinks I may have glaucoma starting in left eye. AFL: Big upset when Crows demolished Blues. Suns (Chol had 5) built a big lead and then held on to beat Eagles ( had 6) 107 - 104.
2023	F - Over to 34OC to re-do the albums shelving. Removed the range hood with some difficulty and then the new one couldn't be done because screws were too small. AFL: Finals - Lions 123 - Port 75.
