Atmores, Whites, Bob and Murph showed up for a chow. Cooked up franks, hamburgers, chicken and sausages. Moved into garage when it began to drizzle. Ian showed our wedding movie in there. |

In flight - breakfast at 5:45AM NZ time. Got through customs no trouble. Aldies had been waiting since 6AM plane landing at 7:42AM. They had made a big sign about me forgetting the parking ticket. Ginger glad to see us - much purring and rubbing. Dogs were taken care of very good and came back from kennels fat. Whites came with curry and joined the Aldies for lunch.
(video) We all went to Rosehill to look at a model train expo. Sanders stopped in with bars for a short visit. Malloys brought the guinea pig back and we gave Anna the infatable boat. |

The CD I bought arrived today from Florida. It is "Comic Minstrel Routines" that includes the one track I wanted,
"An Easy Job on The Farm" - been 40 years since I last heard it at the farm on an Edison cylinder. |

W - The kakabeak given to us by Honda two years ago is really hitting its stride this year.

Sa - Got to Russell's at 3:30PM so we could get to the game early and find parking. Typical Russell, he had to bypass the motorway a few times and made it even longer. But we did manage to get a place right by the stadium. Then we waited an hour for Peter (with Jacob and Davin) to show up with our tickets ($70). We were higher up on the east side for a different view. I kept turning left to see the replay screen, but it was on the right, eh?. Quarter final game against Knights and the crowd (26,000) was up for it being very loud and once enough alcohol had been imbibed enough they started the Mexican wave and singing songs (Steam’s 1969 classic Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye. DJ Otzi’s Hey Baby was a more celebratory sing-along tune). Meanwhile on the field the Warriors managed to slaughter the opposition 40 - 10 (highlights) - best game of the season. We were surrounded by Japanese group who were apparently the manager and family of Usana (official vitamins of the Warriors, eh?). They were enthralled with all the crowd spirit. |
