I wrote everything I had learned about Ookala camps and gangs and showed it to Morton (that's how we got to know each other).  We had a long talk about it.  Then I talked it over with Moody.  He said he knew about it and that in a previous program, someone had come across even more and that it was strictly confidential.  So I wasn't allowed to tell anyone else.  I never got to the bottom of it as I had to go away for practice teaching.  But the data I gathered indicated that there is deep racial strife in Ookala even though superficially everyone gets on with one another.
