   Once Gail had finished up with her Mother’s estate she hit the road and went a calling on friends and relatives around the state. She says that she had a fabulous time.   Jan                     John Barb Lyndsey   Bill       Shirley            Chuck Inez

The “MORE” refers to a trip that she made to Pennsylvania to check in with her Uncle Leland and family.   Lee       Marge       Paula

Then to cap it all off, she and David made a trip through the Badlands and Black Hills to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons.

MINNESOTA - Land of 10,000 lakes and even more mosquitos. Headwaters for the mighty Mississippi. I lived there for the first 22 years of my life and we went back for 5 years in the 80’s. MINNEAPOLIS - City of Lakes, home of the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Vikings, Minnehaha Falls and the University of Minnesota where I did my mathematics degree. We lived in the south before moving to the suburbs for 9 years before ending up in north Mpls. Gail is from south Mpls.
MARSHALL - David moved back to Minnesota in 2007 and ended up finding a computer job in Marshall which is a small university city in southwest part of the state.
MAPLEWOOD - We rented a townhouse in 1980 for a year in this suburb of St Paul, MN because it was close to my place of employment. I'm sure they were there but I don't recall seeing stands of maples.
M.E. - Not me, but another name for CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). 95% of sufferers have a retrovirus called Xenotropic murine leukemia virus-related virus (XMRV). The next step is to determine if it is the cause.
MOUSTACHE - Don't know why, but I grew a mustache in 1968 for a short period. Then they came and went until 1972 when it became a permanent fixture. About ten years ago it turned white and Gail has been begging me to remove it.

All Things MALLEY

  Doug Alderson always called me “Mallie” and the family “the Mallies”. I changed the spelling and created an alter-ego. Thus the Malley-Gram that you are reading with its “Malley Muses”. My business was “MalleyNet”, my website is “Malley World” which includes a “MalleyWeb” section. Gail is “Malleygal”. My vehicle was the “Malley Van”. Our property is Stoney Creek Manor but everyone calls it “Malley Manor”.
