1963	Attended Chris' first Communion at St Peter's (?) and then we ate at Howard Johnson's. The waitress was a neat blonde [ed. - 57 years on and I still recall how beautiful she was].
1973	Chas Murphy and Nuki came for a visit.
1975	Jocelyn watched David and we walked to the lawyer's, Gary Craig, where we signed mortgage papers. Audrey took us to see our new house. On return we had coffee and she told us about her school days.
1977	Put on my stars n stripes pants and 12 whistles for the staff vs 7th form basketball game. I reffed the first half and played second wearing a wig and gloves. Perry was in a Planet of the Apes mask. Bullen and Scott wore old man masks. Pip and Morrice in drag. Sinclair in longjohns. McDonnell in karate. Wild game. We won 18-16.
1985	Gave a talk to Ian's 6th Form English class. I made up an example about the ACS bursar having the ACS Computer Center automate the payroll. After lunch I did the same, but this time I made an analogy to a hospital and told them how Hoffsis automated pizza ordering. Zipped to Nausori with Ian, Susi and Macu. Played a little bridge.
1986	Watched a show about insecticides and NZ is the only country still using banned ones like DT45 and ME/CFS was discussed. I am certain that my problems stem from that - spraying fruit trees in '76-'80.
1988	Business lunch with Neil (non-drinker) and his boss at Spalato, CSNZ's shout. Gin and tonic. French cuisine, exhorbatant prices. Wine was poor at $28 - not a nice '83 CabSav by Leeuwin (OZ). Food was great, dessert was fruit in port, then a Corbans Cabernet 1984 port with coffee and I set myself up for a big headache in evening. After we had finished business stuff we talked about tramping. They gave me a tour of their premises.
2013	M - Drove up to Summerhill golf course with its sod roofed clubhouse, but scenic views were hazy. Spoke to three golfers. Went to Kiwi 360 and found most of it dilapitated. Ian shouted us a kiwifruit ice cream. Chinese for supper followed by 6 games of Dominion while sipping Ti-Toki.
