Made friends with Gurmeet Singh. He has been coming once a week to sell fruit and vegetables. He showed me all the plants in my garden. We cut down my first bunch of bananas (about 4" long) - a couple bunches still on it. Found out that
a tree only bears fruit once, so when the bunches are done you cut the thing down which is easy as it is mostly water. He gave me the best cucumber I have ever had, so crisp that I can't describe it |

Crawfords picked us up. Good party at Breeze's: Mitchells, Sterns, McSweeneys, Drumms, Maguires and McClouds. Drank way too much wine and had a great time talking to Jim Mitchell and Henry Stern.
McSweeneys brought us home at 2AM. |

Jim and Angi came for supper and taught us backgammon. Hid the Easter eggs and made a trail from kids' bed using kite string. |

Shot out to Emery's to arrive at 11:30AM as requested. And once again I then had to wait for Russell to get back from work. So we missed first half of juniors who easily beat The Rabbitohs. Sonny Fai day, we had De La Salle do a Samoan song and dance, followed by a girls group doing a sit down dance, then his church's choir, a relative sang a song and finally
Tiki Tane sang "Always On My Mind". The cheer team was right in the middle of their rountine when the teams came on - must start on time for TV or be heavily fined, eh?
Balloons released in his honor. The boys, with 9 players on injury, shot out to a 12 - 0 lead and looked like an easy win. Despite many chances at the goal line they failed to score in the second half and lost 22 - 16. Read more at Worriers. |

Sa - Gail picked Bev, Colleen and Dave (Baker's cyst) at Naked Bus drop off. After a light meal we chatted and
eventually played Alhambra. Dave doesn't play boardgames, so he read a book. |
