1964	My first accident. Slid into car on Highway 100 at Excelsior lights - fender bender only.
1967	Battery stolen over night. $29 to get a new one and $6.30 for cables.
1969	Hawaii: Details in Peace Corps Journal.
1970	Helped Simon build his geo-breezic dome. Ended up at Kaci's and drank beer with them, the Murphys and Baitovo for a couple hours while kids had Timoci's birthday party. Back to Breezes and met the McIntyres from RKS. Spotty and Ghetto were chasing each other around (we reckon that they could be related). We made a bonfire, had dinner and listened to carols.
1971	Bob and I watched Vikings beat Chicago 27-10, then San Fran beat Detroit. Watched television all day (hadn't see one for 27 months).
1974	Aldersons over for Christmas. Doug and I played billiards and snooker. He fit into the pants mom sent me so I gave them to him. Plus dentist books, a green plastic rose and a cookbook. They gave David a toy which we named "Doug".
1981	Sa - Checked out Hastings, MN. Had lunch at Bridge Cafe.
1988	John Murphy called. He had a brain haemorrhage in August. He and his lady friend are tenting around the north island so I offered our house since we'll be out on Breeze's boat.
1991	We ate at Coyote Cafe in Manukau.
1993	Dad, Gail and I went to Waitakere Lookout and saw geckos in the Info Centre. Bought a book on shore life for Dad to give to Trish as a gift. We walked to see a big kauri and drove over to Cascade area to see another two.
1994	David, Matthew and I drove to Opoutere at 5PM. Checked it out and then played games.
1995	T - Breezes visit and told us about their South Island adventures.
2007	Left Seaview B&B, rain cancelled our waterfalls walks so we headed north. Stopped at Kempsey where a wiry Santa was making the rounds. I bought a pair of dress shorts at Barsby's. Eighty-year-old Eileen helped us at the Nambucca Heads Info Center where we got a pile of material to sort through at the Marcel Towers, in our 4th floor apartment and a view of the estuary. After a rest we walked along the V-Wall with its painted rocks. Steak meal at the Bluewater Brasierre with a Lindeman Rosé.	Bluewater
2008	Ian came for a swim. Russell (gift from Ann), Ann H and Mike (card) came for TP where the turkey went wild each time we got a cheese.
2014	F - Card for Steph. Anna over for Scrabble. Card from OSV. Carcassonne. Watched final Paul Henry Show.
2016	M - Walked to Girven mailbox and continued through Arataki where the baskets have new nets. So I asked two guys if I could take a shot. Four shots four failures can only the ball up to about 8 feet.
2022	M - Bay Urology where Andre topped my ATOMS up 6ml to 22ml and burst through a stricture. Three days of no food and I am not even hungry. Had a cup of beef broth for supper and was able to handle a coffee. Lost 4Kg in past 4 days.
2023	T - Got a Covid booster at pharmacy on Grenada and Girven. Then Countdown where I asked the flower lady what was her favorite: protea and lambs ear. Then Jane at pharmacy and I talked. And finally Irene and I discussed the greatness of oats. 80 minute walk to Coastal Blvd. Gym and pool (14).
