| 1979 | Sa - Murray called Ian to see about a job there. Inemoa made us a chicken curry which we ate while watching All Blacks lose to Australia. Evening of Heasleys' courting days. |  Wedding |
| 1980 | M - Hit Wisconsin after an hour: speed signs are wooden, real dairy farms with animals, yellow barns. Ne lasted for two hours and then was antsy. Gail took over at Durand. Rest stop had an old fashioned hand pump for water. Talked to a retired farmer who was on his way to Gibbon's Polka Days. Took freeway from Osseo to Wisconsin Dells. Had a picnic supper under the trees. Spoke to a Manawato Indian who was cooking fish over an open fire. Went to NW Trading Post and got Indian headdresses (and sparklers). Kids had fun on the rides (helicopter in particular). Stayed at a Holiday Inn in Madison. |

| 1983 | Th - Frank and Libby's new house and played bridge with a very nice Keller-Getter white. | |
| 1989 | Used an annual leave and the weather was perfect for yard work. Did a video of the yard. | |
| 1991 | Lia, Mike and Sam dropped in for a short visit. Whites at 1:30PM. Ian, Gail and I went for a walk on a road near Otaua. Over to Anil and Rawini Varma's for Billy's (3) and Jackie's (6) birthday. We made the cakes. Met Michael, Shailandra Singh and Anish. Nelli and kids came. Gail was the only white lady. Lots of kids having fun in the yard. Men huddled around the Weber and women in the garage. |  |
| 1994 | Doug over for Rock Fever. He just bought a Pentium computer for $5000. Told me about his grandfather living in a tent during the depression. | |

| 2001 | Gail (going to C&W in Papakura with Susi and Trish) dropped me off at Emery's where I met Stuart, up from Nelson looking for a job in the big smoke. Went to the Vodaphone Warriors game. They demolished the Bulldogs 34-8. Watched Dragons v Panthers with Russell until Gail picked me up. |  |
| 2002 | email from Mike H with photo of their new house and a Goofy thing he did. A photo from David of the house going up behind us. One from Emery telling about the house they bought Taupo way. And here I sit in Arizona missing out on all the fun. Clipped Joyce's toenails, so I guess it ain't that boring here. Got out on the Peavine Trail and into the rocks on the east coast of Watson Lake - check out the photos. |

| 2007 | Papakura McDonalds for a sweet chili chicken in a bun and raspeberry/apple pie (very small). Then to the stadium to watch the Warriors romp 52 - 10 over Newcastle. | |
| 2011 | Th - Smithers and Kaho over in afternoon, for snooker, pool and Alhambra. We had fish n chips for supper with a very good R&B '09 chardonnay. | |
| 2017 | F - Headed out at 2:30PM. Picked up rain as I neared Auckland. Russell's where I met his sister, Maureen. Under 20's lost. I made three trips to get game special, fish 'n chips/Coke combo for $11 and joked around with the cashier about it. Then it was the usual bad play by the big boys who lost 12 - 26 to Sharks. There was an excellent fireworks display at half-time for the small crowd. | |
