1975	Woody brought me into town to mail off boxes, get airline tickets and wander through market and stores getting souvenirs/gifts. Bought a Fijian record at M-H. Had 7¢ left so I used it to buy bananas which I ate while waiting for Susi to come on the bus. She had a letter from Mom, with credit cards. Cab to Woody's where Selina made us supper. Woody brought us to the airport. Good flight from Suva to Nadi. Took a cab to the Gateway where they didn't have our reservation, but we got a room and I got a couple hours of sleep. Had to argue the bill down from $16 to $12.50. Walked to the airport. Boarded Qantas jumbo and were moved from our assigned seats to ones that had a built in basinet for David. He slept the whole flight. I watched Young Frankenstein. Thanks to Te we got through Customs with VIP service. Not knowing that we only had to go 100 yards, I had a skycap tote our bags. He wanted $4. I told him I didn't have any US cash and gave him some Australian and Fijian coins and he wasn't happy. Flew to Hilo stopping on Maui. Cab to Hilo Lagoon Hotel where we got a third floor room with a balcony. Below a Japanese garden with a large pond filled with hundreds of koi. Got Chinese takeaway to eat in our room and some very expensive groceries. Bought souvenirs. I called Jane.
1992	Sanders over for supper and visit.
1999	F - Aldies with Craigens, Ian and Jackie over for gin and tonics before we went to the College for TP. Gail won the first door prize: a TAB 7-to-1 odds bet that Vijay Singh will win the Masters. (Video).
2005	Gail and I drove to Parnell and were the first of Mike's birthday group to get to La Porchetta at 6:30PM and saw them taking a group of tables apart, so I barged to the front of the line only to be told that we were too late. So I wandered down the road and found a place, Milano, that served vegetarian and could handle 14. Ended up sitting with Paul and Irene. Great food (I had Calamari ai Ferri and Gail had Bistecca Medici) with a Rocca Delle Macie chianti and a lovely tiramisu for dessert. Met Tracy's partner, Damon, and Mike's Tai Kwon Do mate, Alan.
2013	T - Got a juicer for Ne at Warehouse where I was served by "Perky". Then Rina at Life Pharmacy had her name plate on upside-down. Watched Away From Her.
2016	Sa - David here. Played TTR-Ned, Dominion and then bbq supper. Finally, it was Catan Seafarers.
2019	T - Petrol up to $2.21/l - highest ever.
