1963	Su - Dad took us to Holy Rosary then to see his apartment and then lunch at Keller's Drug Store [ed. - a Mexican store in 2002]. Ate supper with Daniels at Nelson's. His grandma is ever so nice and well versed.
1969	Hawaii: Details in Peace Corps Journal.
1970	No kerosene, so no breakfast.
1974	Alfred and Breezes over for slides of Fiji.
1977	Th - Kathy and Mike over for supper. He has named his business "Westwood". Electric bill = $53.
1984	Sa - Talked to Dad for two hours. Put a new faucet onto the upper bathroom sink. Played Word Yahtzee. Ne read Train Stories to me. Lousy bottle of chianti while watching "Bride of Frankenstein".
1985	Su - 22°C today. Teachers' barbeque cancelled so we had a pick up one at Wiggins (Gary and Cushla) and their friends Colin and Sue from the bush and Sally.
1991	Neli dropped Matthew and Jackie off (from Georgie Pie birthday party for Mario). Ian, Susi and Tracy came around 6PM. Meal (with alcohol free wine), bridge and my AZ slides.
1993	Wizard of Christchurch cut off his beard to save the country from the hung parliament.
1995	Sandy and girls visited. Moving to Drury in Dec. Ian and I went to Bert's for TP.
1996	Su - Watched Holyfield beat Tyson to a pulp (highlights). Whites over for some bridge.
2006	Russell's trotter, Dame Laverta, finally won a race after 18 starts. So I said: "Thank God, he won't be complaining about the horse/trainer/driver" to which Ann replied: "And you don't live here". Em's for the usual Wendy's meal, with a bubbly to celebrate the victory. Russell used the back roads to go to Colleen's for our TP game. On the drive home he just averted a car's spoiler on the motorway.
2011	Th - Gail converted Disney duvet into curtains for my room. Neighbor across fence happens to also be 106 (60 not 80 Maranui) and an item sent to Gail ended up at their place. Gail heard her name being called out and found the source, Les Paine.
2014	M - Russell spent the day at Cambridge. We had great meal at Astrolabe with an average Kopiko Bay merlot. Home to played Ticket To Ride and cribbage.
2023	F - Games with David. Istanbul, Dog Park, mock chowmain, Cascadia and Stone Age then it was Arkopolis and Casacadia when Gail went to bed. I got out Terra Nova and David and I played it for the first time.
