1960	I counted my cartoons = 1758. [ed. - I cut them from magazines, then sorted by topic and or cartoonist - something I have done my whole life].
1972	Listened to Radio i out of Auckland and they are having a "time" contest that I will enter, using my new rock chart book.
1977	Pendergast's for supper. Mike has a stereo setup upstairs in their A-frame. Had a reisling that was very good.
1979	T - Managed to go over exam with 5-2b and then couldn't face any more. Broke down and saw Beckingsale and he gave me the rest of the week off. Gail came to get me at 11AM. Went to see Purvis and he agreed that I should have a long rest and gave me more Norflex (muscle relaxant).
1982	Sa - Typed up page 1 of our Trip North.
1997	Th - Day 87 of our 3 month journey around the world. See 1997 Trip Photo Journal.
2004	Sa - Phone rang at 6:45AM - my message goes on and I hear Gail say: "What?". Jumped out of bed but she had hung up. Looked at her itinerary and it finally hits that 05:15 means 5:15AM. Zipped to airport got there at 7:40AM. Drove through 3 times, finally parked and went inside, walk around 3 times. Decided to call home and see if she may have taken a cab, just as I was about to make my call I saw Gail. Heard all about the two weeks in States. When David joined us she went through the 7 shows that they went to in Branson. Her mother gave her a Meadow Wreath pattern New Martinsville Glass Co dish that dates back to 1944.
2010	Sa - Went to Minis where Matt and Leah showed us photos from the first two weeks in India. Taught Leon and Tracy cribbage. After a big meal, with an excellent Church Road '07 Merlot CabSav, I won Dominion (Sea version) game.
2013	W - email to Newsy (he called). Ian and Susi arrived around 1PM and we got up a bridge game. Minis came later and played Monopoly cards with David. They left to bring Kelcie (never acknowleged us again - on her phone) to a camp at Welcome Bay. Then we had Ian and Susi try Plethora with David.
2014	Th - Put Colleen's new barbecue together. Met neighbor kids, Lena and Mischa and Tessa's mother, Bo. Games at Taylor's. Met Kim's twin brother, Paul.
2023	M - Listened to the Twins 14 - Rockies 4. Trevor Larnach had a Grand Slam (team has 8 for season). 85 minute walk to Pacific Boulevard and the new shopping center on Sandhurst. Very windy - a can dropped and blew across the road and I didn't catch up to it unil after it had stopped a couple house along. AFL Grand Final: Pies beat Lions 90 - 86 in front of 100,000 spectators.
