1969	Hawaii, Peace Corps Training. Details in Peace Corps Journal.
1988	Purvis who says I have a virus causing my earaches. Long chat about things, his family, the mill etc... He recommended that I get more into my hobbies.
1990	Ian finally used his birthday gift and went up for his first glide at Drury (pre-flight video). Airborne for about 20 minutes. While he was in flight I rubbed down a van door, the boys played with a helicopter and the girls played Hi-Q. Post flight video. Home for lunch and viewed the video he took while gliding. Had to kick the kids off the computer and make them play croquet (video).
1994	Dawn Waghorn flew in from OZ for the school's 25th reunion and dropped in to visit with me and Des. An empty Chantelle's with Ian and Susi for our 7th anniversary outing. Had a slow Comfort screw and an excellent '92 Corbans Reisling and a poor Selak '94 Fume. Back home for bridge until 12:30PM.
2000	Sa - Needhams for Canadian Thanksgiving. Very good Morton '99 SavBlanc and an excellent Saints '98 Semillon.
2001	Whites for a grog session in garage with Daphne, Ian H, Navind (and parents), Stephanie, Saki, Jock (Karen), Colin (Tina and 2 daughters) and Brent. Supper and then into the lounge with the younger set; in particular Shona and Sheena who led a lively game of questions/answers. Also lurking about were Neli, Mario, Tima, Louie, Shanta, Brent Donnell (wife), Linda, Sam, Rebecca.
2005	Gail and I met up with Mike (had a curry from food booth!) at Ericcson Stadium to watch the Kiwis out muscle the Kangaroos in the first half 18 - 8 only to throw the second half away and lose 26 - 28. There were about 50 taxis on the street after.
2006	emailed Shranko to congratulate him on his Tigers making the World Series. Brought Clark's printer into Harvey Norman. Collected 3 bags of river stones from Aldies and then Clark's where I installed printer onto Charlotte's laptop. Watched Van Hesling.
2010	Th - Looked through Somervale with Robyn as guide - an older place with small villas and not our cup of tea. After lunch at Atmores we went to Bayswater where Elizabeth S showed us around. Another flower scented place. Very nice though and expensive as seems to be case in the area. We parted Atmores there and drove home. Ian came for a couple games of Dominion.
2014	T - Gail got David from the airport. Then we played Stone Age, Euphoria and Atlantis:Survive.
