1969	Hawaii. Details in Peace Corps Journal. Card and note from Nan.
1972	Went with Bob, Ian, Susi's uncle (Viliame) and Jo Kanatabua to check fences and look for Jo's 6 cows (wandered off during cyclone). Couple hours climbing the highest hill and stopped for coconut and oranges. Came across fruit bats with no trees to hide in - make a good meal apparently. Jo found one with a broken wing.
1991	Stopped at Davis Dam for a self-tour. Checked into Edgewater at Laughlin, NV. Blew $10 on the slots. After supper I wasted another $10 trying to keep busy until 10PM. Watched a 70 year old man dance to a one-man band. Walked over to see Colorado Belle. I had planned to swim and spa but they closed it 2 hours early.
2002	Final walk with Dad. We tried to carve Goofy into a pumpkin but ended up with a dragon. Returned the rental car. After supper Ne and I went to Valls for apple pie ala mode and a visit (tape). A possum showed up in one of their trees. Gave Harlan about 70 floppy disks and the Bible in a Nutshell pendant.	mouse over
2008	Up at 10AM to find Tam and Adam here to empty the pool, which basically meant pumping the water into back paddock. Adam told his Dad: "He sounds just like Tony" (cousin in Minnesota). Middlemore. Irene had been to see Gail. Elaine was there and we were joined by Stephanie.
2023	Sa - Mombasa. Watched last place Breakers go from 26 down to lose to Phoenix 103 - 100, then the Ferns rare win over Jillaroos and the Kiwis lose to Kangaroos 36 - 18.
