1989 | Brought Tracy home. An electrician accidently cut power last night (while setting up our offices in Tech Services and that had Ian Johnston in a rage.) So when Bob Holt showed up with his boys a scene ensued. Peter Taylor came to see me and thought Ian's area was mine as it is the largest. Had lunch under the trees and on to the top. We went back down (video) via Islington Bay track. David, Renee, Matthew, Tracy and I went all the way to the bay (video), while the others went straight to the wharf. Sign at IB says three hours to wharf and the boat comes in two, so we double timed the Coastal track and did it in 1¼ hours (video). Got back to Auckland at 5:30PM. Fish 'n chips on the lawn then bridge. Susi and I had great cards and won. |
