1966	Kincy and I brought Terri and Vicky Spooner to Spring Lake [ed. - back then it was way out in the country. I remember picking the girls up at the Hub - I have a visual of that and I remember Chrispian St Peter's "Pied Piper" blasted out of the car's radio]. We went for a boat ride and then swimming. We were throwing each other off the dock. Kincy brought me to work at 3PM.	Vicky
1967	Left the farm and went to South Dakota in Steve's VW (with Kincy) to buy 2618 firecrackers and other items ($17.65). We played pool at Daniels' for firecrackers and I lost 93 to Kincy. We slept at Steve's.
1968	Darrell and I moved our stuff into apartment on Erie SE (418) near University of Minnesota campus. My half of rent = $66/mo.
1972	Murph took us to see Father Bridgewater who was picking coffee beans. He muddle his way through the papers and we looked over the church. Lunch at Murph's. Helped Whites get a balabala from the Susi's folks' plantation. Supper at Whites then Formula 1, whist and gave Gail first bridge lesson.
1975	Got rental truck at 11:30AM and had it loaded by 1:30PM. Gail drove truck (manual gears) and I was in the car with Te. Stopped in Cosmos for 45 minutes. Gail picked up the key at Watertown. Got to Dawson around 6PM. Had supper with Don and Shelby. Got the truck unloaded into our rental, which is across the alley from Kylbergs, by dark and spend the night without electricity. Had candles and Don's Coleman light. Couldn't sleep - hot, street lights and noise from 24 hr soya bean processing plant.
1978	Sa - Tape from mom. Doug over to play soccer. Played Monopoly® with Gail while watching Telethon - Gary Glitter the big guest (tape).
1982	Th - Ended up on left-field side in Dome. Twins won 9 - 2 (boxscore). No vendors in our area so Gail and kids spent a long time buying hotdogs at a stand.
1988	OZ trip: Barossa Valley. Go to Trip Report
1994	Brought Ne with to Sizzler's for Bev's 50th. Paul, Ne and I were the only ones to order meals. Others had salad and water. Ann had a cake with candles. Timings for movies weren't good so we went to Ann's for TP.
1995	Walked along Papakura estuary with Gail, Ian and Jackie. Home for bridge and rum sours using limes from our tree.
2000	Sa - Atmores showed up out of the blue. When Gail got home from Alfriston Market with Elaine we had coffee and looked at photos. Said Bruce was in Greece, I said I just finished CC's Mandolin, Bruce had told them to read it, so I gave it to them. Gail and I had a tour and meal at Brundell's.
2004	Chris B emailed - in Melbourne and have jobs. Jackie called from Virginia and we had a chat about life with nature (stung by wasp, mice in cabin and frogs in latrines). Mike came for a Montana '02 pinot noir and Scattergories.
2006	Went to the Warriors 28 - Panthers 22. Wiki playing hard was inspirational. Listened to the Twins 9 - Dodgers 2 (Mauer 5 for 5 and 9/10 in past two games).
2008	Clark's after supper, for a cheap wine while I spent 4 hours removing "toggle" and three other bad guys from the main computer. Mike and I finished going through Trivial Pursuit Rock and Pop book. We checked out the Concrete Cows and played European and US map games on the laptop.
2010	Th - Called Newsy and wished him and Darlene well for their trip to Ethiopia in search of opals.
2011	F - Went to see Tuckey and found out that I have prostate cancer.
2012	Su - Papakura and to Mt Smart. I had a chat with Peter Rasmussen and found out that in addition to cleaning uniforms he sells a fuel enhancer. Juniors won easily over Cowboys. Chatted with Alise and found out that she is from Curaçao and Bruce is from Sydney. Big boys, in pink, had an early lead, then Cowboys came back and finally a couple tries toward the end saved the game.
2016	F - Scrabble at Anna's with Gail just pipping me with a 7-letter word. Anna professes to be giddy and is definitely not herself. Met new neighbor Bev - her husband just had a stroke.
