1960	To Hub with Mom where we paid for my glasses, had breakfast at Pixie Diner, got me new shoes and then shopping at Red Owl Supermarket. Mama brought us to Little League. Gary, Terry W and I watched Phelps lose to Lucky Dollar 13-1.
1961	High = 76°F. Went to Grandma's as did Jerry's and Angela with Ralph. They now have a television! so Steve and I were able to watch the Twins lose to KC 7 - 8.
1975	Got a PO Box (628), had electricity turned on, so we now have fans battling the heat. Put the kitchen table together and got the bedroom setup. Returned the U-Haul truck to Montevideo. Big spending spree at Gibson's. Met our neighbor, Stan Krueger who lays field tiles. Played catch with Don and met Ken, who is a TV repairman. Spent the evening setting up the den.
1982	F - Upstairs to get a bismark (Curt's birthday). Staff lunch at Windbreaker in Bayport for Lois' departure. I had a crab omellete. Covered white area of house front walls with beige.
1988	OZ trip: Barossa Valley and St Kilda. Go to Trip Report
1989	Went bowling with Ian and Susi, Steve G, Mackays (Nyrae and Kelvin), Patricia and Brett. Strained drinks in back room, then Ian organized two teams. I had a bad ball but was tops with 147. Found my fav, 65, and was on a 200 course when we were kicked out. 3 hours and only got 1½ games in. Leszek couldn't make it but he sent along Polish beer.		Nyrae
2002	A couple ladies had a look at the place and loved the back yard. Gail and I attended the World's Oldest Rodeo - 114th year. Cheap seats so I couldn't get good photos, but lots of atmosphere. Had mechanical bull below us and for $5 people from 20 to 50ish kept us entertained during the lulls.
2004	Gail and I went to the Lions Club for a "Fijian" evening. Ann, Russell and Chris came also as did the Whites and mini-Whites and Saki. Met Peter Hook (retired tech teacher - owns Lady Jane) and wife, Clive and Betty Caine, Cedric (Sri Lanka), Indians Saroj and Rudjah Narayan, Ashok, wife and son Ranil and Fijiians Meli and Helen, plus Gary and Elaine Pye. A bilo of yaqona followed by a Fijian whiskey, Old Club. With the meal a sweet Chateau Ste Michelle (Washington State) '99 merlot and a strong Sav Blanc by the same outfit. Over dessert I moved over to the table of Hindi women and amazed them with my command of the language. Ian got up a game of TP and if you answered the question you either had a bilo or nominated someone else. Elaine let me try her Kerr Farm Semillion and I think they should stick to farming, eh? collage.
2012	M - Had my first B12 shot.
2015	Th - David arrived at 4:30PM and we played Istanbul. After curries for supper we played Kingdom Builder.
2016	Sa - Drove to Papakura and went to the game twice. Why? Russell forgot the passes, so we had to turn back at Manurewa. Watched the second half of the NSW game. The Warriors beat Titans 27 - 18 to celebrate Mannering's 250th game.
